Plasmid DNA Elution Buffer II is a high-salt buffer formulated with MOPS and isopropyl alcohol to elute plasmid DNA bound to anion-exchange resin during column-based purification. The elevated salt concentration disrupts electrostatic interactions between the DNA and resin, while the isopropyl alcohol aids in downstream precipitation of the eluted plasmid.
