MOPS-EDTA Sodium Acetate (MESA) Buffer is widely used buffer for gel electrophoresis, often as part of a Northern blotting workflow. MESA Buffer is a suitable running buffer for RNA gel electrophoresis and as a casting buffer for formaldehyde-agarose gel preparation. MESA Buffer is formulated as a 10X concentrate and is ready-to-use once diluted to a 1X working concentration.
