Immunoprecipitation (IP) Lysis Buffer is an effective sample prep buffer, lysing cells for immunoprecipitation pull-down assays, protein extraction for protein studies, and can also be used in specific Western blot workflows. IP Lysis Buffer helps preserve protein-protein interactions, maintain protein structures, and lyse cells more gently than other lysis buffers. This buffer is compatible with phosphatase and protease inhibitors (sold separately) to maintain protein phosphorylation and integrity. IP Lysis buffer is tested for protease contamination to prevent protein degradation.
