The EBC Lysis Buffer (Erythrocyte Blood Cell Lysis Buffer) is a buffered detergent solution useful for erythrocyte lysate preparation. Formulated at a pH of 8.0, this solution is buffered with Tris-Base and Tris-HCl, and is also composed of EDTA and NP-40 (IGEPAL CA-630), allowing for the effective lysis of blood cells while preserving nucleic acids and proteins during the process.
