1N Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) solution is a reliable pH regulation tool for laboratory processes. NaOH is a strong base, and dissociates completely in water into Sodium (Na+) and Hydroxide (OH-) ions, increasing the level of hydroxide ions in solution, and thus effectively increasing the pH. NaOH can also be used to care for and clean chromatography resins in downstream bioprocessing. This formulation is prepared in WFI-Quality Water.
